Namaste!
So since lockdown was imposed and there wasn't much else to do, I created a routine for myself to follow. I'm someone who gets bored easily if I have no routine in place so it has always been important for me to set up one. Without a routine, a whole day can go to waste, in my opinion. I find myself mentally exhausted even though I would've done practically NOTHING the whole day.
So here's a run-down of pretty much my whole day!

1.Wake up - 6:00 am
Now I know a lot of you will not want to wake up as early, but I've always been a morning person, although I don't wake up until 7:30-8:00 unless I have to. For the past two months, I've been waking up this early to get to my live Yoga session on time! My class starts at 7:10 so I have around 30 mins In the morning to myself, and I generally read in this time and listen to some music.
2. Live Session with Yoga Wellness Center - 7:10 -8:10 am
This one hour of Yoga is a constant for me and I have worked my whole day around these classes. That means my sleep cycle, my afternoon nap, my meal times are all catered to fit in with this particular hour of my day. I find centring my day around one or two things makes it easier to create a routine that I can get comfortable with.
3. Breakfast : < 9:00 am
Right after I get back from my Yoga session, I have my breakfast. I love breakfast, if you know me personally then you know I cannot go a day without it! I am a very cranky person without this meal, and my whole day can go wrong if I don't eat my breakfast. And if you're wondering, No, I never forget to have it. Even in college, I would rather skip my first class than skip my breakfast!

4. Between Breakfast & Lunch
This is the time where I get most of my work done. When I say work I mean clicking pictures for my Instagram or filming videos! I really enjoy this time to myself, I love planning my pictures and videos. Sometimes I read in this time too! Reading has taken over my Netflix watching time and I could not be happier! I am surprised that I barely watch any Netflix at all, I prefer to read! Ive been able to get through 10 books in this lockdown! Which is probably my personal best.

5. Lunch - 1:30-2:00pm
Lunch is a wholesome meal, I love simple South Indian lunches and my grandma never fails to pamper me with some of my favourite dishes!
6. Between Lunch and Dinner
After lunch, I generally watch a movie with my dad, but I often fall asleep within the hour. I feel I sleep the best in the afternoon, and it's something that really energises me and I almost never go a single day without it.
I typically read after my nap, have a cup of tea and these days I do some journaling!

7. Dinner - 8:00-8:30pm
Dinner is generally when our "special" meals are cooked. We love experimenting with food, and my dad has become quite the chef these days! His Thai curry and Toscano chicken is well loved by all of us at home! So dinner is an exciting meal too, I guess I find all meals exciting! I am a foodie!
Not much else happens after dinner at my house, we generally hit bed by 10:30 - 11:00pm because I have class the next day and I can't afford to sacrifice my sleep!
Sleeping early and getting adequate sleep is essential, if you didn't know this already, inadequate sleep can also result in weight gain, unhealthy eating habits, lethargy and so on. I know a lot of people who are night owls, but at least try to get 6h of sleep in. On the other hand, over sleeping is also just as bad, so try setting up some sort of routine that helps you get in adequate and appropriate amount of sleep.
If you guys would want me to share a few tips on how you can fall asleep easier, do comment below and let me know and I will be sure to do it soon!
Any other post ideas are also welcome.
